You ever see that Tumblr post saying someone should write a book about how one's birthmarks are just the scars of how we previously died? Or that deja vu is actually our brains remembering our past lives? This is that book, and it's awful. This book was so boring and predictable. I don't see what's so great about Daniel. It seems like the author tried too hard to make him seem "mysterious" but seriously he just came off as a huge horndog, living passively from life to life and getting sad when he can't get it in. Nothing romantic about a dude stalking her over a thousand years, constantly calling her the wrong name, spouting all this bull about her past lives instead of trying to be a normal person and a friend first before confessing his everlasting love for her after talking for a total of 5 minutes while some poor kid is lying in the hallway after being shanked. Bruh. And a hugely underwhelming ending. I see why this book didn't sell well and might not get a sequel. Would not recommend.
