Apparently some people criticize these books for their "lack of depth and humour." In all honesty, I think it has some pretty deep issues. Loyalty and betrayal, political hierarchy, friendship/relationships, and more are all covered. What else does one expect from, well, a series of books for kids? On cats? With more stresses placed on the Clan from deaths, a fire, their leader's paranoia... and more, Fireheart wonders what it'll take to fix things.
