Without doubt, one of the best suspense movies of all time. Brilliant in its execution, it is a movie I can easily go back to over and over.

After a year of delving into so called "classics" and having them turn out to be heinous offenses to film, "Rear Window" is thankfully all it's cracked up to be. Hands down, this movie is a better mystery than the last 6 seasons of "NCIS",…

What else can I say that hasn't been said already? Absolute classic!

Entertaining and cleverly filmed. The viewer becomes a voyeur and never leaves Stewarts apartment, you are always watching the unfolding story from the apartment window or within the apartment itself.

This Hitchcock classic has some really stand out dialogue---sharp, witty and humorous at points. This 2-disc Special Edition has some great bonus material. Definitely one of Hitchcock's best.

JAMES STEWART and Grace Kelly star in the compulsively entertaining Alfred Hitchcock tale about a bachelor photographer, convalescing in his apartment with a broken leg, who believes a man in an apartment across the way has done in his…

Watching this recently, it seemed to me that Hitchcock was commenting on how technology and mass media were changing the meaning of neighborhood and community. Jimmy Stewart watches the lives of his fellow apartment dwellers through their…

I must say, no signs of aging. Embedded in its day and yet totally relevant. Perhaps the most entertaining of all of Hitchcock's films. Marriage is the theme and murder is the hook. James Stewart is as perfect as he's ever been. He uses…

(IMO) - "Rear Window" (although noticeably dated) is definitely one of Alfred Hitchcock's better films from his directing career (during the 1950s) in Hollywood, California. Here our protagonist passes his time at home (recovering from…

"Rear Window" (from 1954) is a Technicolor "Alfred Hitchcock" production. As a Suspense-Thriller (now nearly 70 years old) I found that this slick presentation had both its fair share of good moments, as well as its not-so-good moments,…

I think that "Rear Window" is definitely one of the better films directed by Alfred Hitchcock. I found that this picture certainly kept me quite interested in the story right up to the suspense-filled climax.

This drama lovingly invests in suspense all through the eyes of the protagonist. When the film ends, however, you would remain somewhat unsatisfactory as if somebody kept you from going beyond foreplay.

(*Movie quote*) - "I saw knives, saws, and ropes." Featuring a competent cast of actors, a well-paced, tightly-written script, and, of course, the commanding direction of the "Master-of-Suspense", Alfred Hitchcock, himself..... 1954's…

I have to say, I was underwhelmed by the ending to the story’s main mystery. I mean, I’m not sure that I wanted it to end as I had expected but, I felt for all the buildup, there could have been something more dramatic. Maybe even the…

Absolutely fantastic thriller that never gets old, no matter how many times you watch it. The filmmaking is also super clever, conveying so much with the image alone-- though there is plenty clever dialogue as well! And those last fifteen…

This is a slow burn thriller. Solid cast, it's worth a watch. I've heard of Grace Kelly before this movie, but never saw any movie of hers until this one. And I'm a fan!

One of my favourite movies and is also the first Hitchcock movie I got into. James Stewart plays an amazing role where he is bound to a wheelchair and spies on his neighbors, while watching them he is convinced one of them commits…

"Rear Window" has to be one of my fav movies of all time...Have you ever seen anyone as beautiful as Grace Kelly in this movie? I rest my case...

The movie is about a wheelchair bound photographer who could view from his own apartment complex into all his neighbors' windows. This is a suspense and entertaining thriller with James Stewart and Grace Kelly. Recommended.

This is how suspense is done! Not blood and gore and shock-value... just edge of your seat suspense letting your imagination do its worst (in the best way). You can feel the fright of being "trapped" in your room watching possible horror…

Sheer perfection. Hitchcock's best (in this movie lover's humble opinion).

A somewhat slow paced, but exciting film, the tension slowly building as each little element is added bit by bit. The odd "detective " work - basically snooping and being creepy - by the protagonist and his girlfriend (and eventually his…

"Rear Window" is the story of a nosy, bored invalid (played to perfection by Jimmy Stewart) who really has nothing else to do but spy on his neighbors. He becomes swept up in a possible murder in an apartment across the courtyard. Grace…

A true classic. I love that this film takes places in a limited space, across the courtyard view of apartments. It's where voyeurism comes to you and where you, in return, get caught up in events, or I should say, the lead character L.B.…

For those who say Hitch couldn't film romance, I suggest checking out the slo-mo, closeup kiss between Kelly and Stewart, at the beginning of the film. It has been written that Grace was his favorite leading lady (Hitch's). This kiss…
