I enjoyed this follow up to The One and look forward to the final chapter. It is similar to previous Nora Roberts paranormal stories, although the protagonist is younger. Oddly, too young for romance, but old enough to try to save the world.

This book just didn't last long enough. I liked it even better than Full Curl. Lots of local BC places, continuing suspense and a strong environmental component. Can't wait for the next installment.

A new Baldacci protagonist; female, strong, smart and determined, with a surprising sidekick. Looks like the start of an interesting series, with a lot of back story still to develop. A good read.

Another good read from Louise Penny. Lots of twists and turns with all the usual characters and I refused to go to bed until it was finished.

Enjoyable read, showing some of the physical and political issues involved in dealing with protecting species in national parks. It's not just a problem in other countries! I look forward to future books in this series.

I really enjoy the Longmire books, but this was just a little too far-fetched. There were some comic moments, but Walt's "honor" was putting him in my 'too stupid to live' category. I hope for better in the future.

Some were a little slow and introspective, but true to character. A couple were hilarious.

The birding aspect of the book is great. I found some of the characters and their connections confusing.

I enjoyed the characters and how they developed. A comfortable, easy read. Good suspense, although maybe a little unrealistic in parts, with a fairy tale ending.

An improvement over the latest Stone Barrington novels, which have been churned out with increasing regularity and decreasing content. Perhaps the addition of a co-writer has provided inspiration. Unfortunately, Herbie's choice of girlfriends hasn't improved. An improvement over the latest Stone Barrington novels, which have been churned out with increasing regularity and decreasing content. What a waste of time. The only reason I finished it was because it was a short book and I kept hoping it would improve. Disjointed nonsense.

Not my usual type of film, but the cinematography and cultural aspects were superb. Dark subject, but the understated humour was very enjoyable. I howled over the unorthodox ambulance ride.

One of the most intriguing Inspector Gamache stories. All the old gang in fine form, along with some new recruits. A strong investigation plot and a few more insights into Three Pines and Armand Gamache, the man. Highly recommended.

Great listen. I particularly enjoyed S Lazy H and Sadr City. Definitely makes you think about all the crap that goes on in the world. I'll definitely have to make room on my Ian Tyson shelf for Corb Lund.

Great story. Vega Jane thinks for herself in a place that doesn't encourage it. I enjoy Baldacci's adult crime novels and this one took me by surprise, but I got hooked very quickly. Looking forward to the next in the series.
